Appearance: A cloudy blonde body that showcases a plethora of carbonation. Produced ample lacing despite the single thumb of head that quickly ran away.

EDIT: Smell: So it seems I forgot to add Smell to my initial review. I seem to recall citrus hops dominating the nose with bread malt in the background. Warming wasn't needed.

Taste: Exceptionally well balanced as bready malt with only a hint of caramel sweetness which gives was to a lengthy citrus and leafy hop sensation that seems to perfectly ride itself out without clinging after you had a drink or punching you in the face.

Mouthfeel: The transitioning in smooth and the hop mix is really what comes out in the aftertaste. The fact it doesn't come across as clinging and the carbonation seems to maintain just the right level of aggression. Which the head had stuck around though.

Drinkability: Light bodied, easy on the system and perfectly quaffable in all but the most extreme of temperatures. This is exactly what I want when I want something with a bit more hops then the norm.

Final Thoughts: I really enjoyed this one, it's a well done example of the style that while not a bouquet, shows why sometimes just a single rose can get the job done. This is not something I'd expect to find in a can that has a pipe smoking fish on it. The only time I can see not wanting this is those extreme moments, the cold of winter, the swelter of summer, for the end of day desert or the start of the morning breakfast drink. Any other time it is wholly appropriate, and I discovered it pairs exceptionally well with chicken schnitzel. That all said, I can see not everyone having the wholly positive reaction I had with this beer, but for my part, two thumbs up.
