On tap at brewery:
Pours with a chill haze that never fully leaves. Nice white head leave flames of lacing above the surface.
Nose has a mildly tart fruit saison profile. There's the notes of dry grass, banana esters, and a light barnyard note with a hint of spice, but more prevalent are apple and pear.
The fruit takes a little turn towards nectarine, but a tart apple note still comes out. A little barn and hay comes, then a strange tartness. The first comes and goes, the latter lingers in a diminished capacity. The beer ends with a spritzy feel and a peppery taste. Not quite as light as I'd like, but not heavy at all.
Not a big fan of fruitier saisons, and prefer mine to be a bit drier than this. That aside, this isn't a beer I'd turn down.

Served at the tasting room, a convenient Uber ride from my new home.
Orange brew, slightly hazy with a nice bit of head.
Sweet fruity and citrus scents coming from this one, a good sign.
Fresh, clean and delicious. Solid bready malt gives way to the orange peel and spices. A tiny bitterness to wrap it up. This is a go to brew. Possibly my favorite session beer from VA.

Look-It has a golden orange hazy color that looks like buckwheat honey and a thin fizzy white head and tenuous white lacing.
Smell-It smells sweet like banana bread and vanilla pudding. Sweet fruity esters form the bulk of this beers aroma.
Taste-The taste follows the nose being composed of fruity esters, primarily banana, as well as spices like nutmeg and cinnamon. The yeast is strong and the malts are sweet but balanced. The carbonation is a mild fizz and the mouthfeel is light bodied at least.
Overall-This is a refreshing beer, but has the typical attributes of a saison. I’d drink it again.

This beer pours a mildly hazed light-orange with a surprisingly quick to dissipate off white head. My glass may have been moist which contributed to its rapid decline. The aroma is decidedly yeast-dominant with classic apple aromas and surprisingly spicy character, which is naturally occurring from the yeast. The taste is subtly sweet from the orange peel but the delicate dry finish really rounds things out. The mouthfeel has a nice smooth Belgian wheat kind of feel that successfully leads to the aforementioned dry finish. All in all everything works together to achieve a refreshing brew.

On tap at Nationals Park in Washington, DC.
Pours a hazy orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, earth, spice, yeast, chalk, and slight dried citrus peel aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, spice, yeast, and slight dried citrus peel flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty, but the mix of aromas is slightly better to me.
Serving type: on tap.
