On tap:
The beer looks just a little darker than I'd expect, but is generally an orange side of golden. Head is small bubbles, white, and lines the edges without providing much lacing.
The nose is fruity esters, pear and perhaps some kiwi. There is also some Thanksgiving-inspired spice notes in there, whether rosemary or sage or others. The Belgian yeast is deeper down, but there are really no typically earthy farmhouse notes.
The taste is a bit on the fruity sweet side. Pear, apricot, apple cone forth. It seems like the spice from the nose act to counter this slightly mid taste. This results in an ever so slight earthy taste, but also has a light drying effect. It does not put a large dent in the fruity taste, however. The body is sort of light, carbonation similarly light.
At the time I was looking for a lighter taste/feeling beer, so this worked for me. I think it a tad fruity sweet overall, though.
