Picked up a 6 pack of this last time I visited my mom in Colorado, shared one with my SAN group and sent a couple out, but apparently never sat down and drank one with the thought of rating it, so here we go-
The pour is actually pretty impressive considering it’s not precisely fresh at this moment, a tall light brown head that took its sweet time dissipating.
The taste is coffee up front, which gives me hope that this won’t be a sweet mess. Chocolate of course comes out and I think I can taste vanilla but that might be my imagination. Coconut shows up, faint but present. Probably more pronounced when fresh.
OA, for a non imperial pastry stout, it’s not very sweet (which I appreciate) and it has good flavor and balance. A little on the thin side feel wise, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Brewers notes : Dry hopped stout brewed with cacao nibs, vanilla, coconut, and coffee.

Dark brown cola liquid with a two finger taupe foam cap when poured into a pretentious beer glass

Aroma is cocoas, coffee, coconut

Taste is coffee, Cocoa, chocolate, coconut

Pours an effervescent mahogany with a thumb+ of mocha colored head. Head drops off quickly, no lacing either

S: Coffee, vanilla & cinnamon ( not listed on the can ); gets better as this beer warms up

T: Follows the nose, pretty dry; coffee is like how my Dad liked to drink it, fairly weak, a little cocoa as well up front. Vanilla starts creeping in as this beer warms up, weak-ish coffee, a little roastyness & cocoa too, coconut on the edges. Finishes fairly dry with vanilla, chocolate, coffee acidity & coconut

MF: Medium body, somewhat prickly carbonation, body thins out as this warms

Not a bad effort flavor-wise, easy enough to drink, body wasn't all that
