330ml can. Clear, golden colour with a thin head and spotty lacing. Aroma is sweet, overripe mango. Taste loses the mango and turns to pale malt, some vague tropical fruit and ash. Mouthfeel is harshly bitter and thin. Poor example of an APA from Glasgow, Scotland. Too brittle for me.

A: The beer is slightly hazy dark yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger frothy off white head that died down, leaving a collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of mangos are present in the nose along with notes of toasted malts.
T: The taste has flavors of mangos along with underlying notes of toasted and caramel malts and slight bits of piney hops.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This APA has an interesting mix of mangos and malts.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of mango, pine and toasted caramel. Sweet mango taste with caramel and a sharp bitterness.

L- Clear, mid-gold, thin white head + lacing.
S- Oh heavens, sweet pungent mango pudding!
T- Mouth-contorting, this is like a bitter mango-ade - a very strange taste.
M- Bitter/dry.
O- I'm suddenly feeling old. I can't understand why some people (is it a hipster thing?) pay a premium for what to me is a sub-standard product. Like seeing a 35 year old struggling past up the street on a skateboard with retro 50mm hard wheels; that all the kids who could afford to rejected for 70mm's back in the 1970's hehe....
330ml can. The BBE on the base of the can is illegible. £1.80/330ml can, Sainsbury's London W10

A 330ml can with a BB of Sept 2018. Purchased a while back from Morrisons. Described on the label as a mango pale ale.

A: Poured into a tulip. Can-conditioned and pretty lively. A hazy amber hue with fine suspended sediment and plentiful carbonation. Produces a decent head of creamy white foam that lasts for a moment or two before reducing to a persistent surface layer. Slight lacing.

S: Aroma of earthy, resinous hops with hints of pine, weed, pepper corns, herbs, leafiness, citrus peel, hay, ale yeast and pale malt. Mango not particularly obvious. Decent but unusual aromatic profile.

T: Tastes of spicy, leafy hops with notes of pepper, pine resin, weed, herbs, hay/leaves, vague citrus, mild fruitiness, earthy yeast and pale malt. Mango not much in evidence. Quite dry, followed by a delicate bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, lightly tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and decent body. Mildly astringent. Aftertaste of spicy hops, pepper, pine, weed, hay, earthy yeast and pale malt.

O: A reasonable pale ale but nothing special. And the mango seems to be well hidden. Looks alright, while the aroma and flavour are hoppy and spicy with a leafy character. Body is OK. Drinkable but maybe better when fresh. No need to hunt it down.

Pours clear golden into a glass. White head is small and frothy.

Aroma of sweet mangoes, papaya, passionfruit and sharon fruit. Very nectary.

The flavour is very floral and sweet full of mango, more nectar, orange, stone fruits, and tropicana, before moving into malts and ending on oily hop bitterness.

Feel is light-medium and oily with good carbonation.

Very nice and drinkable. It's sweet and fruity but not overly so to degrade the flavour of the beer. Would drink again.
