Bottle from Aldi, brewed on Drygate's small kit. Bottle conditioned
Pours muddy dark brown, small tan head.
Some mocha, leather on the nose, bran flakes, touch metallic. Fair bit of nose for a scottish ale tbf .
Similar in taste, getting some malt loaf.
Would be better from cask with a softer carb , nice to see a modern brewery try this sort of beer
