I'm trying a third pint of this beer off the tapper at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with very thin tan ring head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had hints of sweet chocolate malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bold sweet chocolate malt presence with subtle hints of coffee. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

12oz can from Tesco. Black pour with a beige head. Sweet, chocolaty aroma, roasty malts. Taste is chocolate, dry, sweet, light milky notes. Finishes very dry.

Son brought this back from the UK to the US. Awesome but sad that it's not available here in the states. Would love another round.

Look - very dark. Head settled to about half an inch and endured through drinking.
Smell - very rich. Appealing. Major hit of cacao with a coffee undercurrent, exactly as advertised.
Taste/feel - hops straight from the off with the coffee and chocolate notes coming through. Hard to pick up the lactose. Almost a burnt caramel finish, which was maybe slightly too bitter. Rich feel throughout.
Overall - Very good, particularly for the price (£1.49/330ml can from Aldi, might be Scotland exclusive). Will definitely pick more up, it's a very nice wintry feeling stout.

L- Very black, even held right by a light-bulb not a single photon gets through. Pours with 1cm fine tan head that holds well.
S- Caramel first, toffee, and then chocolate/cocoa.
T- Roasty-toasty, coffee, chocolate with vanilla notes into the finish. {I like it, the wife thought the coffee too prominent for her).
F- Rich, feels like a 6% stout 'should' and more.
O- A good winter beer; would go well with a rich dessert any time of year. I'm not much of a drinker of black beer, but this one is different, multi-faceted and I'd definitely buy it again.
No visible BB anywhere on the can, but bought last week from a busy supermarket. £1.80/330ml can from Sainsbury's London W10.

Canned in a crafty craft can
Nice smooth Mocha Milk Stout from Drygate.
Rich coffee, toffee and milk come to the fore of the taste.
Notes of Caramel, chocolate and caramel also join the palette.…

Wonderful aroma. Deep dark colour. A bitter coffee aftertaste. Not much chocolate flavour, but it’s there. No problem recommending this and it’s cheap to boot!
