440ml can from Lidl (£1.79):
Clear dark copper with a foamy, tan coloured head that forms after an aggressive pour but holds okay. Biscuit malts & caramel kick the nose off beer smoked rauchbier type notes & ham start to come through but thankfully don't overpower before a faint sweetness comes through. The smoked malts & smoked ham flavours start to dominate with the taste, there's still a touch of caramel malt but it's overpowered for the most part; not quite sure why this is labeled as a marzen in truth despite it not being as strong tasting as one.
