I had this beer on-tap in a tulip glass at the brewery in Glasgow.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Not really hazy at all, though, for something advertised as hazy.
Smell: lightly sweet with a bit of a tropical fruit character. What comes to mind is breadfruit — not bright, just kinda tropical.
Taste: a bit sweeter than the aroma with a generic kind of tropical fruitiness. Bitterness is moderate. It’s not exactly bad, but … it’s not an ideal hazy IPA.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this beer isn’t terrible, for sure, but it’s definitely not what I’m looking for in a hazy IPA.
