Presentation: It was poured on tap at Resurgence Brewing Company.
Appearance: The body has a very dark brown color with lighter reddish brown highlights when held up to light. This dark liquid is topped off with a small light tan head. This head settles quickly leaving just a light ring of foam. Glass lacing is minimal and slick.
Smell: The aroma is fairly light overall and it has a nice fruity sweet and malty character.
Taste / Palate: It has a very light smoke with a sweet maltiness offering sweet caramel and choclate toosee roll like candy flavor notes. It’s palate feels silky smooth and lightly carbonated. It’s not heavy or cloying and overall I think it is quite drinkable.
