This hearty, but not heavy festive beer is the perfect transition to the Fall season. Our Oktoberfest is well balanced with a great toasted malt profile including biscuit, caramel, and toffee notes. With its clean and crisp finish this beer does justice to the traditional märzen style.

Pours a deep amber. Thin foam. Big malt aroma. Bready malt body. Fades to a slight sweetness. Finishes clean. Very good flavor. One of the better Oktoberfests I've had.

L: old penny copper/brown with a short lived tan head that dissolves into a ring
S: faint malts with an odd hint of lemon
T: very sweet malt, stale bread, some toffee, a little hop bite
F: very thin, almost watery with a sticky feel on the tongue and a slightly bitter aftertaste
O: weak & thin best describes this beer, think of it as an Oktoberfest lite. Other than the almost too sweet malts this beer has nothing that stands out and give minutes after you drank it you'll have forgotten all about it.

On tap at Rochester Beer Park in Rochester, NY.
This one pours an amber brown color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.
This smells like bready malt, and not much else - maybe a touch of hop character.
This isn't bad by any means, it just doesn't do much to stand out for me. There's a touch of floral hop bitterness, and your generic caramel malt/breadiness sort of thing going.
This is very drinkable, pretty much clean and without flaws, with a crisp finish.
I've had better beers from Resurgence and better examples of this style overall, but I don't regret trying this one.

This beer has a warm an inviting reddish amber color with good clarity. It forms a nice bright white head of foam that fades slowly but not completely and make some lacing on the glass. The aroma is light but has nice toasted grain with hints of delicate floral hops in the background. The flavor offers a good crisp touch sweet caramel and toasted malt and grain up front then a light kiss of floral hops blends in. The finish is balanced just on the sweet side and it is extremely drinkable.
