drank at 5 months from brew date( 2 cans at different sittings) .looks dark black with tan head , roast coffee aroma. in mouth it has a very prominent sour taste with a thin mouthfeel that is followed by some roast and subtle coconut but the sourness lingers . very unexpected

Don't know if this batch just went bad but not a good porter, if there is a category of " sour porter" this would get a 4 .

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and some coconut. Nice coconut flavor with dark chocolate, toffee and a subtle bitterness.
