On tap at Resurgence Brewing Company in Buffalo, NY.
This one pours a decently dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like lightly roasted malt, herbal hops, and some chocolate.
This is pretty simple, but it's done well enough. It's got the right amount of roast, and just a touch of hop character, and some light chocolate sweetness. There are no off-flavors here, and it's brewed cleanly.
This is light bodied, but creamy, and very crisp, with a tremendous amount of drinkability.
It's always a nice thing to see (semi)local fresh lager. It makes me happy.
