This one pours a dark-ish murky orange color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like astringent, leafy, and green hops, with a lot of malt character.
I usually really enjoy Resurgence, but this was a significant misstep. It doesn’t feel like they could have intended this one to be this way – it’s stale and vegetal, and nearly flavorless. It’s just generically bitter, with not much else.
This is light bodied, but harsh on the finish.
This was, perhaps being a little dramatic here, a disaster.
