Dark brown and creamy with an off-white head in the pint nonic. Faint graham cracker aroma. Light body with a fluffy nitro mouthfeel.
Just a hint of sweetness, and I'd have to say this is the least like a milk stout of any beer advertised as such, in my experience. Strangely dry with a little chalky taste. Light graininess, kind of a Cream of Wheat taste. More of a soapy than hoppy faint bitterness.
A little of the sourness that you'd expect in a charred malt stout, but this is nowhere near black. A not very likeable oddball brew. On tap at the brewpub in south Denver.
