We've been trying to get this cherry for over 5 years, but it matures so early that the birds usually get to them first. This cherry is even darker than Balaton cherries, we've never made a beer with cherry notes like this.

Hazy brick red with a short white head immediately dying to a thin chain.
At first I associate the classic qualities of cinnamony cherry pie, but that immediately diverges into a sort of sour chocolate cherry cake I've never quite had in a kriek-like beer before.
A little char leads into an acid that comes just shy of acetic, however, detracting from the overall experience.

perfect cherry flavour. medium pink. good tartness. cherry aroma.great drinkability. Andrew's bottle, worth seeking out and worthy of being record 12,000 review.
