750ml bottle poured into a tulip
Pours deep ruby color with a thin foamy off-white head. Smells of pressed sweet cherry, dried hay, earthy yeast & woody oak. Tastes of semi-tart cherries up front that turn sweet into the mid-palate, adding sharp woody oak, dried hay & funky yeast. Medium body with moderate carbonation, foamy mouthfeel and semi-dry finish. The sweet cherries are a nice contrast to the tartness of the beer
