Received in a trade and shared with JLindros. Bottled 9/19/16.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a hazy straw hue with a thin white head that fades to leave light wisps.

S - Big aromas of peaches, peach skin and juice. Really nice New Zealand hops, nice musty tropical notes, good hop notes considering the age.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, phenomenal peach notes, juicy yet tart, acidic and sweet, gummy yet fresh. Super bright peach notes. Nice New Zealand hops too with amazing fruitiness.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp, very flemmy.

O - Overall this was a very solid wild ale with phenomenal peach notes. Juicy peaches and potent hops. Absolutely phenomenal!

Big thanks to rudzud, bottled 9/19/16
NO real head, murky hazy blond peach color

Nose is loads and loads of peach, fresh juicy ripe peach, peach skin, canned peach, just everything you could think of that has to do with peaches, tart acidic funk, big acidic funky lemony fruity beer, mild Kiwi like earthy green tropical fruity hops, little grassy floral, nice tropical fruits

Taste quite sour, tons of peach and generic stone fruit, loads of juicy fresh peach, ripe peach, again just about every peach you can think of, very juicy, fair tart acidity with a little funky notes, some fruity floral a little earthy Kiwi hops, mild tropical fruit notes and loads of stone fruit, peach, and some citrus, a little spicy hop finish, fair bitterness and really nice balance

Mouth med bod, pretty acidic, mild but decent carb, bit of a flemmy finish

Overall really nice, juicy, tasty, great fruit, nice hop character, very enjoyable.

having never had the straight peach version, its hard to offer any comparison, obviously, but this is great beer, let that be the first thing i say. i do wonder though, how much the peaches are covered up by the hops. we all know a strong dry hopping is a great addition to fruited wild beers in a lot of instances, but here, especially in the flavor, i get a lot more of the tropical hops than i do of the fresh peach that is so prevalent in the nose. for me, there was way more, and way truer peach flavor in both peach cut and leaner, but its hard to compare apples to dry hopped apples i know. a really neat pineapple aroma to this with the peaches, some citrus too, the hops add a lot, very heavy handed it seems, or else very fresh hops. this feels a little thick to me and looks a little murky, neither of which keep it from being super juicy and bright in flavor, but it lacks the dry effervescent ease of many of the other casey beers. nice tang here, very tempered acidity, a lot of rustic funk, but the dry hopping and the fruit take over that a bit and make this seem quite a bit more new school than anything else i have had out of camp casey. great beer, dont mean to make it sound like something less than fully amazing, but if the goal was to feature an even relationship between peach and hops in a wild beer, the balance is just tilted a bit towards the hops in my opinion...

A - Beautiful pear juice body. Two fingers of white head pour some with nice retention and ok lace.

S - Stunningly fresh peach nose. Juicy and sweet with touches of honey.

T - Tart peach skin followed by sweet peach juice, a touch of bitter tannins, and soft old oak.

M - Smooth medium frame, maybe medium-full for the style. Crisp carbonation.

O - Stellar. If you're looking for a peach saison that really showcases the fruit, it doesn't get much better than this.
