Bottle: Poured a light pink/purple color ale with a medium size foamy head. Aroma of tart notes with light oak and funky yeast notes with some strong notes of plums. Taste is also a good mix of plum notes with light residual sugar notes with some tart notes, light oak and funky yeast notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Enjoyable sour with huge notes of plums.

750ml cork and caged bottle, bottled 12/31/2016. Served in a Casey stemmed glass. Pours a slightly opaque darker purple body, one finger white head that exhibits good retention (for a Casey beer) and a frothy retinue of lacing. Smell is stone fruit, red vinous character, oak, light lemon citrus acidity, moderate acetic acidity, a bit of leather and more stone fruit tartness. Flavour follows the nose; stone fruit tartness throughout mixed with some acetic acidity and lemon, light oaky funk, touch of tannin. Nice plum character, most certainly. Good, lighter body, good carbonation, strong acetic tartness lingering on the backend. The stone fruit character is nice, contributing a strong plum character that adds additional tartness on top of the general tartness of the OT base. This is still on the more sour side, but still a very enjoyable beer.

Bottle dated 12/31/16.
Pours cloudy deep magenta. A fizzy off-white head forms and quickly disappears completely leaving faint spots of lace. The smell is of sweet plum jam with a hint of funk. The taste is like biting into a ripe plum, beginning with the tart skin and finishing with the sweeter inside of the fruit. Light texture with crisp carbonation. A world class sour.
