3½yo bottle: latex.
90% of American Sours taste like hot trash, latex garbage, but everybody acts like it's okay. This beer deserves a rating in the 60's, not 92. Stop hyping bad products just because you're too prideful to scorch something you waited in line for, overpaid for, or went out of your way for. Anybody rating this beer above 3.00/5.00 is a modern beer fanboy with no knowledge of the style.

its crazy this is, and casey is really, like everytime i have a new beer from them its the best one i have ever had, and i have been loving these white grape editions lately! it would be tough to compare them unless you could drink them side by side, but, on the whole, this might be the best of the ones i have had, the grapes shine through the base beer brilliantly, both sweet like the fruit and tangy like the wine itself, coming through what has to now be considered a lambic base. these cuts now have all the funk, oak, and yeasty complexity of some of the better lambics of belgium, and in the nose of this, i just cant help but think im smelling old world lambic, so tart, mature, and wild, mouthwatering for sure. the grapes are quite forward, but not at the expense of the base beer, they go so well together, seem to enhance each other, and well i dont know the vidal blanc grape very well on its own, what it does in this beer makes me want to. slight iodine and minerals, aged hops, mature bretty twang, and a uniting and mellowing wood complexion thats just awesome. the beer is sour sure, but it still seems delicate to me. spendy, but you get what you pay for now with these casey beers. this is one of their best to date, positively exceptional. the white grape is perfect with this base!
