Bright yellow, decent head, some lace on the glass. Slight vanilla in the aroma but the whiskey barrel seemed subtle to me until I started huffing this beer. Smells funky and great, whiskey and booze. It is pretty damn sour. Like limeade, puckering and tangy. You can taste the whiskey barrel, it is sour, lemon-like, and it is also delicious.

L: Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a small fizzy white head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Some lemon, and tart citrus, mixed with a strong funky brett, some notes of cherry and vanilla. The bourbon is not very strong in the aroma, it is mostly the cherry and vanilla that is underneath.
T: Some lemon rind, mixed with a sour and funky brett, at the end there are notes of cherry and vanilla. Overall, the whiskey notes are very subdued but add a nice balance to the sourness.
F: Crisp, prickly mouthfeel, with higher carbonation.
O: Not my favorite Casey beer but the sourness mixes well with the light notes of whiskey, though I wish the whiskey was a little more prominent.
