I really like the vanilla and the way the roasted malt carries to the finish and lingers

500ml bottle at share. Normal silky black pour, small beige head. Aroma is a nice roast malt, chocolate backbone supported by a bit of coffee. Taste adds a nice dose of vanilla, adds some sweetness, but still has that silky smooth imperial stout vibe.

Nice dark color with dark beige head that is retained well. The aroma has a hint of vanilla and slight roasted coffee notes. Flavor is extremely well balanced roasted barley notes, chocolate, with vanilla on the finish. The vanilla is there but not overbearing, not oily or cloyingly sweet. This is a very well made non-BA stout that has great use of adjuncts without being an overtly pastry stout. I look forward to future stouts if this is their first foray into the style.
