16 oz. Can
Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, peach, mango, apricot, nectarine, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, melon, guava), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, peach, mango, apricot, nectarine, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, melon, guava), very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. Orange Julius! Addictive! Milkshake!

Consumed as a canned offering. Canned 1/28/26.
Pours out a hazy murky off-yellow, opaque in the glass, with a sizably pillowy white head. Great retention and lacing.
Smells like straight-up cantaloupe and honeydew melon, maybe some papaya. Not much else. Just pure melon.
Tastes mostly of cantaloupe, honeydew, with some papaya and orange juice. Fluffy, doughy malt; hints of grass and grapefruit. A small touch of earthy and grassy bitterness on the finish.
Medium-full bodied, moderate carbonation, smooth and hefty but quaffable.
An excellent Citra NEDIPA. Couldn't ask for much better; honestly it's on par with King Sue.

have had very little clean beer from casey, but for one its no surprise they are doing some, got to fund the passion projects somehow, and two, its no surprise its excellent, they have been consistently among the very best in a very beery state, across the board, so this was as good as i expected it to be. that said, i definitely prefer the funky stuff, and sort of hoped this would have a little something to the ferment, just a little brett for intrigue, but thats not the case, the fermentation is limited in this, tidy and maybe one of those new school hazy strains, but run dry here and way behind the hops and the grain. the malt in this is soft and wheaty, looks thicker than it drinks, pale and whitewashed and a little dense in my glass under its creamy two inch white head, super lively which i love in a hazy. the hop profile is predictably simple, citra forward of course, with some subtle nuances of melon and jasmine, along with the more obvious meyer lemon and lemon verbena notes, just a little bitterness as it warms, but not oversaturated or green despite the boldness. the mouthfeel is awesome, fuller but smooth, maybe some oats in here too, this feels higher protein, great carbonation, and on the dry side for how flavorful. this isnt as distinct as the wild beers they make of course, those are one of a kind with an identity all their own, but this is real well put together and i am excited to try some more of their clean ones when i get the chance. thanks to my buddy for shipping this to me!

Pours orange with a murky, opaque transparency. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is orange zest, tropical fruits, and papaya with a central focus on brightness. Doughy malts are just behind, but are faint compared to the hops. Flavor profile leads with more tropical fruits - orange zest, papaya, and tangerine, with grassy and lemon rind hops in second. Doughy malts are exposed thru the crevices, but are light compared to the hops. As a whole, it tastes soft. Mouth feel is medium in thickness that's defined by a soft body after a little initial harshness. Some light chalk sprinkles a little texture throughout the profile. Overall, tropical fruit plump without being a juice box. Awesome.
