Appearance: Pours a cloudy honey color with a one finger head that eventually works its way to a ringlet, leaving splashy lacing on the way down

Smell: Funky peach with just a hint of vanilla; vinous lemon and oak, as well

Taste: Peach nectar on the tip of the tongue with the funky lemon tones developing; after the swallow, a hint of vanilla joins with the oak, bringing a vinous finish with a moderate acidity

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; puckery

Overall: Not my first Casey but my first fruited sour from them; complex and enjoyable

Thanks, matthartman11, for the opportunity

This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange, with a small fizzy head, and not much lacing.

This smells like funky sour peach, light vanilla, lemon, and white wine.

Casey never really overdoes these beers when it comes to the vanilla, and that's a good thing. They're not meant to be pastry sours, and the vanilla is meant to kind of be a supporting background player. The peach is juicy and also very sour, but doesn't overwhelm any wine barrel character, or lemony funk.

This is light bodied, clean, and somewhat acidic on the back end. It's still very drinkable.

Casey seems to be batting a thousand lately. It's been a while since I've had anything disappointing from them.
