Appearance: Pours a hazy magenta with a two inch mauve head that fades to a film; shards of lacing cling
Smell: Tart raspberry tones; very oaky with just a hint of Bourbon
Taste: A touch of raspberry jam sweetness is quickly overwhelmed by the tart acidity; oaky, with growing tartness through the finish; the vanilla builds somewhat as the beer warms
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; puckery
Overall: Bold raspberry tones are very enjoyable; I was expecting a bit more from the vanilla and the Bourbon barrel
Thanks, matthartman11, for the opportunity
