Good Cream Ale. Reminded me of Genesee Cream Ale that I used to get a taste of when I was a kid vacationing in the Catskill Mountains with my parents. Looks a lot like an Adjunct Lager, but with a better head and more vibrant gold color. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer features a big foamy white head, good retention and good lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, fairly prominent. Taste is good as well. Sweet, smooth and malty..no thin, sour, vegetable tasting Adjunct Lager here. Mouthfeel is rich and creamy with enough background hops to give it a little bite. Very refreshing, a good summer beer.

Pourr is Light cloudy, gold. Foamy, short, white head that Fades fast.

Smells bready, grain, light earthy and Floral.

Taste sweet grain, corn, bread, light earthy and hints of floral. Finish is semi-dry with a grainy linger. Lighter body and creamy medium carbonation.

Smells and looks like an AAL, but the taste is really nice, slightly sweet, crisp finish and smooth mouthfeel with a touch fizziness. Really like this beer and could be a really nice summer beer if it were sold in my area.

PS: this beer is only 5% ABV per info. on side of the can.

Slightly cloudy golden yellow with a rapidly disappearing head. Aroma improves on standing to roasted corn. Tastes like fresh roasted sweet corn on the cob, sweet with a nice corn finish. Best cream ale to date.

Picked up in SC while visiting my in laws for the holidays. Tall boy white can pours a cloudy golden body with a tragically short lived white head. Nose is floral with light bread and biscuit flavors.

Taste is heavy on the similar biscuit and buttered toast notes familiar from the odor. Pleasant aftertate and smooth throughout the sip. I could see wrecking this in quantity in warm weather.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a bright, golden yellow color and a clear texture. There was an inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Below average lacing.

S: A nice aroma of light hops, malt, and corn.

T: Tasted of a light cornmeal quality (the advertised grits), a hint of citrus (lemon, more than anything), some malt, a tinge of hops, and a decent amount of cream. A light flavor that's extremely easy to drink. Not quite as complex as I would like, but oddly likable.

F: A good amount of carbonation with a somewhat slick finish. Light-bodied.

O: Cream ales are rarely the most complex beers, and this one is no exception, but this is quite a drinkable beer.
