L: Poured from a bottle to a goblet. Had a dark, brownish color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a 3/4 inch, creamy, off white, fairly long-lasting head. Not a whole lot of lacing, though.
S: A decent aroma of Belgian yeast, spices, chocolate, and dark fruit.
T: Tasted of a variety of different spices (cinnamon, among them), a bit of dark fruit (raisins, in particular), an odd, grassy quality, some Belgian yeast, and dark chocolate as well. An interesting take on a Belgian style. When this beer first hits your palate it's a little jarring and messy, but it levels out. Warm, sweet, and generally tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This beer has its faults, but it's definitely likable. Drinkable.
