12 oz can with no detectable date stamp.
Pours with a cloudy apricot colored body with a decent head.
This has well hidden ABV and a moderate strong flavor. Very fruity but with hints of apricot nectar rather than bananas. There are bready undertones in both the aroma and the flavor.

There is a review out there for "Belgian Golden Strong Ale" from Revelry at 7.5% abv. One of the few comments "corrected" the listing by correctly listing the name of the beer, but called it an IPA and listed the abv as 9.5% Might as well start a correct listing. God's Favorite is the name of the beer ("Belgian Golden Strong Ale" is also written on the 12 oz can). The correct abv is 9% and it is most definitely a Belgian Strong Pale Ale. Poured from a 12 oz can into my Chimay Goblet. Small bubbly white head with less than average retention and very little lacing. Nice light copper color. Aroma is light fruit, apples and pears, Belgian yeast, a little spicing (pepper and coriander) and a little sweetness. Taste is similar. Light fruit, yeast, honey and spicing. Very tasty and true to style. Mouthfeel is crisp, rich and a little sweet. No hint of the alcohol and no bitterness to speak of. A veary good take on this style.
