All previous ratings are from when this was first released in 2014. We've got two ridiculously high ratings and then two much lower ratings. So my job (as a Poo-bah) is to make sense of all this. Let's see.
Notting Hill Riot has a name and bottle that strikes me as appropriate packaging for this trendy, now expensive London neighborhood. No riots there, but probably a thoughtful joke.
But I'm liking its Looks: volumes of foam that never stop; even as I finish the bottle... a treat. Smells and Tastes are less eventful; milds are just that, pleasant drinking in which you focus on the conversation instead of the alcohol or hops... also a treat for a malt-head like me; but I suspect off-putting for the typical American palate. Feel is fine with a gentle finish.
My first from Devil's Trumpet, I went on their website (it is basic; giving the impression they focus on their brewing.) But they clearly love what they do and have a pretty good following for a brewery only in its 4th year. I like how they get the most ratings (and one presumes money) from not just their IPAs, but also their stouts. They only distribute in a 15 mile radius (it seems) of where they brew and have a taproom. So I am glad to have tried this and if I happen that way again, I will look for Devil's Trumpet.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
