Pours jet black with just a tiny tan head. Aroma has cocoa powder notes, chocolate malt and cinnamon. Taste is interesting, not as bold as I was expecting. Again, cocoa powder hits me first along with mild cinnamon and some other spices (the cinnamon becomes more pronounced as the beer warms). The mouthfeel is a bit thinner than I expected from a 9% imperial stout. Overall, an interesting beer. Glad I tried it and I'd have it again although i'm not sure I'd buy the full 4 pack.

Appearance- The beer was black with highlights of brown and a mocha colored head.
Smell - I would describe the nose as a spicy ashtray. The cinnamon is present.
Taste - Chocolate and cinnamon are at the front, though the beer is not particularly spicy. Cinnamon it is really well-balanced, enough to lease that synthetic. The chocolate is dark but is not burdensome. I do not get the promised vanilla. The only real problem with the taste is that it just sort of ends.
Mouthfeel- For a stout, this lacks viscosity. At the same time, the lack of my feel does not subtract from the experience dramatically.
Overall - I would definitely drink this again.
