On tap at OC Md 45th St Taphouse into a pint glass.
This was my 1st Black IPA. The aroma was light malts, and mild hops. I didn't get the fruitiness at 1st, but it started to come through on my 2nd.. and 3rd pint. The flavors were evident on 1st taste however. There was quite a bit of hoppiness to it, a little bitter.. but not overly at all. Being on tap, the carbonation was as expected.
I really liked this beer, and I am looking forward to returning for another ..or more.

Poured a black body with minimal head and lace. Aroma is mostly roasted malts with minimal bitter, dry hops. Taste mirrors aroma as a light to medium bodied beer presents a mostly roasted and dry malt base with overpowered hops giving off a bitter citric bite on finish. Not a bad black IPA but not close to best in this genre nor well-balanced.
