Sisyphus Anti-Social Apple Ale.
Clear, pale straw golden color, no head at all.
Nose: all apple, sweet, lightly tart, dry...nice.
Taste: dry and clean...honey-crisp? Maybe. Wet. And Dry. Light-bodied, crisp, tasty.
That's all I got. As apple ales go, it's all right. I don't mind it. In fact, actually, I can dig it, just a little.
Good apple ale, and you can drink it.

sort of a beer cider hybrid, and definitely my least favorite beer i had here, all the rest were quite excellent, its almost like beer for non beer drinkers or something, sweet and super apple forward, more of a juicy thing than a beer, not a lot of grain or hop character here at all. it does appear to be made with fresh apples which i really dig, but its too sweet throughout and i miss the texture more malt would provide. its very autumnal though, with a little honey element to it and the apples, more like apple juice than apple cider though, a little too sweet and refined, it would be better if it were more raw. the flavor is nice, but the feel is all wrong, its not nearly carbonated enough for what it is, and gets a little heavy as a result. its weird how all their other beers could be so dialed in and this one seem so amateurish. maybe something new they are playing around with for the fall or for the less beery folks, but this one didnt do it for me at all. fortunately they have a ton of cool beer to choose from here, really something for everyone, including those seeking a cider type. cider drinkers may like this better than i did...
