650ml Bomber.
Saw the word Weizen without looking up Roggen so was surprised by how dark it was compared to other hefeweizens..lol. Sort of a darkish copper, very cloudy.
slight sweet banana with hints of spice.
Some really nice flavours..lemon, banana, slight clove clove, slight pepper. Sadly they really are dancing to the same beat as one flavour waltzes in, then leaves followed by the next.
medium feel.
I'm glad I tried it. Decent attempt I imagine ( This is the first Roggen i've had afterall)

Poured from 22oz bomber into a tulip.
Appearance: slightly murky brown hue with a giant 3+ finger head of creamy tan foam. Completely to-style.
Smell: a little bit of rye spice and a dash of banana character. I actually like the composition, though the intensity is a bit light for me.
Taste: malty with a more rounded-out rye character and a dash of that banana with a little more hot phenolic clove character. All together, I rather like this beer.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with an absolutely massive carbonation. There's a good creaminess here, but you have to get through a lot of carbon dioxide to get to it.
Overall: this beer really works for me. I like a good phenolic weizen, and the rye adds just a touch of extra character that I dig.

Served On-Tap
A — Pours out with a dark ruby brown hue into the glass, tan colored head sits atop the beer and leaves some rocky lacing behind it.
S — Pungent nose of rotten bananas and spicy rye bread. Not a great amalgamation of aromas here, lightly phenolic.
T — Malty and sweet, with more banana and a light clove note as well.
M — Chewy, though effervescent, maybe a tad overcarbed.
O — An odd array of clove and banana, with a sweet and slightly spicy chewy rye kick.
