Part of a flight, my rating may not give fair shake to this effort at freshness.
But my summary of this ale is that fresh hops may avoid some of the off-tastes of not-so-fresh hops, but if you still use too many hops... you still get a hoppy, tangy beer. Sofresh was too hoppy for my tastes.
Since this was my first from Steel & Oak, I went on their website and was impressed by their dedication to their craft and their town's primary role in settling the then-colony. So, I give them an OA hug for history, too.

Poured from a 473ml can, this is the 2018 run. 2018 version is a blonde ale with Centennial wet hops from Northwest Hop Farms in Chilliwack B.C.
This one pours a off clear golden amber with a thin white head.
A nice tangy hoppy pale ale the hops go well with this ale.
