Black color with a one finger mocha head produced. Smokey chocolate aromas. Taste is similar but the smoke is subtle and blends nicely with the roasted malt and chocolate/vanilla flavors. Seems more like a stout than porter with a fuller body than I'd associate with a porter, and less carbonation. Overall, the smoke is perfect in this beer as it compliments the flavors rather than taking over. Another great beer from the fat-ten-er series.
