This a must-visit stop if you are in the NH, CT area.

Industrial, gas station, unpretentious kinda feel to the place, some outdoor seating as you enter...food truck ready to take your order.

High quality and quite enjoyable beers to enjoy here or to go...cans cans cans...all the rage these days and they have got em here...I'd be a regular if I was local...plan to get here frequently while one of my offspring and his family are living in NH for the next year or so...well worth a visit

A very busy taproom, had a hard time getting the bartenders attention to even order. I know there are laws regulating this but buying tiny 10 ounce beers at full pint prices sucks. Id rather just take the cans home and not feel as ripped off. But... the beer is excellent and the price point for cans is fair.

Finally able to make it here after so many years of not wanting to drive down to New Haven from central Mass. Happened to be driving from Pensacola, FL to the NY/CT border in December of 2017 and was able to make a quick stop here. Had a pint and filled several growlers of their delicious hoppy beers. One of the bartenders was extremely kind and scored me a few cans of a few releases they recently had that I just missed. Beers from them I’ve wanted to try for over ten years...seriously. Great brewery atmosphere and good folk. I consider them one of the OGs of the craft beer scene, as they’ve been making stellar beer way before it was cool and trendy and played out.

Just the perfect happy medium between NE Style and West Coast style beer. More breweries need to have balance like this. Amazing selection always. The BEST employees and service. Love 12 ounce cans and they never sold out and started making the overly wheat and oat flaked NE double IPA's like the rest of the saturated beer market.

Beers are always top quality; usually an interesting, if limited variety of styles;

Service is a little standoffish, but the staff knows their stuff.

This is my favorite brewery anywhere. They have an extensive but manageable selection on tap at all times, and they brew absolutely fabulous beers without exception. G-Bot, Coriolis, Locust Reign, Fuzzy Baby Ducks, Spin Cycle, Galaxy, Stout Trooper, Dose...These are basically all world-class, mind-blowing beers. Even Sea Hag – by far their most widely distributed and accessible beer – is one of the best in class. Strictly in terms of quality, NEBCO is at least as good, if not better, than any other brewery I'm aware of, including Alchemist, Lawson's, Trillium, etc. Go here.

Was driving by New Haven, CT and decided to stop in. Very conveniently located close by Exit 59 on the Merritt Parkway (CT-15). Located in a fairly unassuming building, part of the production area is visible through windows as one enters the service area (always a nice touch). The vibe is very welcoming and low key. With about 6 to 8 beers on tap, there is more than a reasonable range of high quality offerings. Growlers are available, but cans are more iffy as they are only made available on certain days (and these evidently go quickly). There are several bar height tables for seating perhaps one to two dozen, although the space can easily hold at least twice that number. There was also a food truck just outside the day I stopped by. The service was helpful and efficient. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the New Haven area (or simply like good beer).

Lots of room to sit, big bar, easy to understand what is going on.

In an industrial park setting but nice on the inside. BBQ trailer was parked outside and had great food options for good prices.

Had cans, and growler/howlers available. Draft options in multiple sizes as well as one option on nitro tap. Tons of interesting swag.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Didn't leave you standing around at the bar and collected empty glasses from tables quickly. Nice spot and worth a trip.

You meet the nicest people standing in line for their can releases.
I've gotten growler fills, and had a couple beers a half dozen or so times in 2017. The interior design has evolved for the better over the past few years. My "vibe" rating is based on the other customers rather than the visuals. Unfortunately, it is attached to a building in the back of a car dealership (unlike other breweries on the water, or in 100 year old buildings).

By far the best well known brewery in CT. The tap list is on point and they have by far some of the best IPAs you can look for. If you can get in line for Wednesdays make sure you do so because cans go quick but definitely worth it. NEBCO is a staple for CT breweries and can compete with any nationally ranked brewery!

Moderately sized taproom, with some small tables to hang around. The selection is pretty good with random beers on tap. The service was friendly and seemed to be having a fun time hanging out there. It's a cool spot, a little hard to find off the road though but once you find it you'll enjoy it.

This place was one of the first breweries I've ever been to and will always be a favorite.During releases the lines file out to the parking lot but the turnover is quick enough to not wait an outrageous amount of time. The tasting room is large enough to host a solid amount of people. Once inside lines are quick to form for growler fills, merch and whatever release is going on for that day. The merch is on the other side of the bar, which is kind of slightly inconvenient simply because you'd have to get back in line. This DOES NOT hinder their service score at all, AT ALL!! It's a note from a dude who likes the idea of beer glass candles.

The staff is incredibly helpful and super patient with answering whatever questions I had. My first time there, by complete happenstance and before I started liking craft brews, was the Zapata bot release. I had had G-Bot before but wanted to know what the story was. The line wasn't too long so I felt comfortable asking about what they had done. The server, explained why I was paying $14 for a bottle (I told you, beginner) and persuaded me to get it. Absolutely decadent and I've been a repeat customer ever since.

Their beers are outstanding. Huge fan of the fuzzy baby ducks, the reliable sea hag, ghost pigeon and the dose. Most notable beers for me are their Imperial Stout Trooper, and their Wet Willy Scotch Ale. The Willy sat in my fridge for a month and was fantastic. Their selection is wide, check out their social feeds and see what's on tap.

They don't offer tours anymore which is a shame but the facility was never the less inviting. I'm looking forward to coming back time and time again.

NOTE ON SCORING: If you made it this far into my review God Bless you for your patience and abundance of time. This is my first review, and because of that I want to make sure that out of the gate I'm as critical as possible as to not have these numbers mean nothing. I love Nebco plain and simple and want to be fair.

Vibe - 4.25: Welcoming environment and fun loving staff. Never came on a bad day and haven't seen anything negative. I'm just used to a really rambunctious tap room where as Nebco is calm and civil

Quality 4.75 - These beers are delicious and I will always buy them. I'm lucky enough to live in New England and have a myriad of great beers at my disposal.

Service 5 - again the staff could not have been nicer and congenial.

Selection 5 - holy choices, batman, there's a bunch of beers that you can find on tap, at the packy and the brewery.

One of my, if not my favorite brewery here in CT. Has a great distribution network, too, so taps and package stores always have NEBCO. Been going here for growler fills since the old brewery on Selden Street. I would make my stops after classes at SCSU.

Brewery itself is tucked away behind a Jaguar dealership in Woodbridge right on the New Haven line. Smallish tap room has a spot to order growlers or pick up the occasional bottle/can release. Tasting area is to the right and there's enough standing room with some tables. Bathrooms are here, too.

Service is quick and prompt, and if it's not too busy they are good people and easy to talk to. Beer is super fresh and even their experimental beers (Fat Ten-ers) are awesome. Super hoppy goodness. Even since the expansion they have been able to have anywhere from 4-6 beers on tap at any time. Prior to this they would completely sell out!

Hope they continue to grow and expand. Sad to see Matt Westfall leave but there are even brighter days ahead for NEBCO. Cheers!

I've been here a few times, mostly stopping in en route to somewhere else. I first visited the original location, which was small and gritty, but still nice and friendly. The newer location is not too far from the original spot. Obviously bigger, and a bit more polished and organized. I was never there for a big release, but they seem good enough in the service department. Not really my kind of place, but it's good for what it's good for...get your cans and growlers, and/or hang around for some samples.
