Had at the brewery back in the spring. Pours deep and dark with a tan head. Strong chocolate on the nose with some coffee notes. Really awesome flavor here. Deep dark chocolate and cacao with a nice coffee note. Total sweet milk stout that isn't overly roasted. Decent body, silky smooth feel. Easy to drink, and a perfect time for it!

32oz growler into a Gandhi-Bot tulip. Thanks Matt!
A: Black body with clear red-brown highlights. An inch of tan foam settles fairly quickly and leaves spotty lace. Quite nice.
S: Rich roasted malts - dark chocolate, coffee, and a luscious blackberry/currant undertone. Delightful.
T: Opens with chocolate, followed by coffee, caramel, and dark fruit. On the finish, some toastiness leads to a lingering semi-sweet chocolate aftertaste. Complex, flavorful, and delicious.
M: Smooth, soft, moderately carbonated medium-full body. Silky, rich. Terrific for the style.
O: Terrific example of the style - not too sweet, not too thin, and extremely flavorful without being extremely alcoholic. Another great entry in the series.
Cheers!
