this makes Galaxy Pale Ale so much better, pours a very hazy (not murky) orange/brown, head dissipates quickly into nothing. smell is juicy: grapfruit, oranges, and a little bit of earthy/dank from the mosaic. taste follows the smell perfectly: very juicy with all above notes plus a slight tropical sweetness that regular Galaxy doesn't have. nice feel for a pale, great brew, should be a new regular recipe.

Light amber in color; small head on my pour and too dark in the room to care otherwise.

Tropical scents accentuated with aromas of pine cone and berries; passionfruit and citrus steeped in black tea.

I notice flavors of passionfruit , papaya seed and peppercorn on first sip. Subtly sweet but bursting with dank citrus. Finishes sharply with pine and bready malts.

It has an overriding crispness with a soft body that doesn't yield any residual bitterness.

Overall, the dry hopping yields residual sweet and dank qualities. Sweeteness begs for continual sippage, but i'd rather savor the melding of flavor with fragrance.

appearance- Golden amber and very cloudy. Pours a soapy two finger head.

aroma- Lots of floral, white grape, and grapefruit aromas. The nelson and galaxy components seem to be standing out the most.

taste- Similar to the aroma with floral flavors and acidic grapefruit, but there is fruity aspect with mango upfront and white grape toward the finish. Malt is dry and bready for the part which lends to a crisp finish.

feel- medium bodied, medium carbonation, mild bitterness, and a clean feel.

overall- Galaxy is a great pale ale and the hop additions amp up the hop flavor. Nelson stands out a little more than the mosaic, but nevertheless this variant is great. Easy to drink, tons of flavor for a low abv beer, and another must have from Nebco.

Stopped in at the brewery today and tasted this delicious creation. The ABV was not listed and shocked to see it here at 4.8%. Huge taste--Galaxy with the steroid additions of Nelson and Mosaic were fantastic. Huge hope aroma, great taste, with a wonderfully dry finish making me want for more. Kudos NEBCO!!
