Had at the brewery on Saturday, 6/4. #28 comes out a brilliant yellow color with moderate clarity. Bubbly thin white head dissipates quickly.
Smell is mild and fresh. Some sweet grain notes counterbalanced by an equal amount of fresh cut grass from the hops. Taste is very similar, cracker like malts at first, noticeable grain bill, followed up by a bitter herbal hop note and a dry finish at the end.
Overall a light, thin mouthfeel combined with a decent amount of flavor left me feeling that this was a solid pilsner that didn't try to push any boundaries, just solidly executed. Very similar to my memories of Elm City, but with a bit less hop bite.

32oz growler from the brewery. Pours a translucent golden color with almost no head. Minimal lacing. Malty, grainy aroma with grassy hops and some sourdough. The taste is a lot hoppier than the aroma lead me to believe. Grassy, floral hops with some citrus peel. The malts come out at the end with some spicy hop notes as well. Grassy hop finish. Crisp mouthfeel but with a decent body. Very drinkable. This would be a great summer beer. Reminds me of Elm City a good deal (RIP). Overall, worth grabbing again.
