#29 is a coffee IPA, a style I have not been much of a fan of but still willing to try. NEBCO's take uses Amarillo and Mosaic for the hop schedule. #29 pours an orange color with an amber tint, a dense white head falls eventually and leaves some lacing.
Smell is the malty sweetness pushed back by the burnt huskiness of the coffee, hops are in the background giving off a bit of fruit and dankness. Taste wise you get a nice sweetness up front, caramel notes, followed by the coffee husk and char notes. Hops are more in the background attributing the bitter aftertaste but don't take center stage.
Overall it's one of the best coffee IPAs I've had so far, but I'm still not sold on the style. It's style that I can enjoy every now and then, but it will remain a "one and done" beer. Great job nonetheless, NEBCO!

Appearance is kind of ok. Slightly hazy golden color with a small head. Not much lacing.
The aroma is interesting. Subtle notes of coffee backed up by a bitter hop aroma.
The taste is not what I expected at all. Tastes like green peppers soaked in coffee. Maybe a slight touch of citrus.
Feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finish is pretty dry.
Overall, an interesting beer but not one I would try again.
