64oz. growler into a Heady Topper stemless snifter.

Amazing color and head retention. Especially given that it came from a growler. Nose is citrus, sap, pine and cane sugar. Aromatic with nice complementing notes. Beer opens pine, citrus and resin. This one harkens back to a traditional IPA. Some dry tea leaves in the middle with a hint of more sap and a dried leaf bitterness towards the end. This is awesome. Body is medium with moderate carbonation. Smooth and soft on the palate and goes down dry, sticky with a barely there aftertaste.

This one's crazy good and it reminds me of what IPAs used to be before the Juice Bomb revolution .

L: Pours a deep gold to pale amber with a very, very light haze. If put in front of a light source one can see hop particulate suspended in the matrix. A vigorous pour gives a massive fine, white, and pillowy 3 finger head overflowing the glass. The retention is excellent with the head slowly falling to a half finger which stays with the beer for the rest of the glass (although by the bottom third of the glass the middle falls out to a film of head interspersed with splotches of thicker head.) This is a beautiful looking beer.

S: Strong blueberry, grapefruit, fresh cut grass, very distinct grainy malt character.

T: The front of the palate presents sweet orange mixed with pineapple notes. In the middle some grainy malt backbone comes in supporting waves of blueberry. The blueberry continues into the back of the palate where it quickly mixes with fresh cut grass and sweet caramel? malt. The sweet malt mixes with waves of bitter grapefruit contributing to a very balanced finish. The top half of the glass is at least a medium bitterness, but by the second half of the glass the finish is a bit sweeter with the bitterness blunted a bit.

F: Medium body with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is a bit doughy/chewy but the liquid is also a bit slippery on the back end as it slides down the gullet with a nice dry finish. There is just the slightest hint of alcohol burn on the finish but this disappears after three or four slugs.

O: It just doesn't get any better than this. The Swedish bikini team could parachute in and I wouldn't bat an eye...I would continue drinking the Super Supernaut with feverish abandon. If Supernaut is the perfect showcase of Mosaic, Super Supernaut would hand its little brother its cigarette and say: "Watch this!" Truly one of my favorite beers from Nebco. Maybe only rivaled by Gandhi or Locust Reign (although the Double Hag is nipping at all their heels.) If you can get ahold of this then you should.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy vibrant orange color with an inch of head. Tons of lacing. Lots of Mosaic in the nose with some light floral and grassy hop notes. The taste is a mix of berries, grapefruit and some dank hops. Slightly floral towards the end with doughy malts and more berries. Maybe a hint of pineapple. Dank finish. Heavy mouthfeel with a dry mouthfeel. Moderate alcohol burn. Supernaut is a great beer and this one only improves it.

Tried this at Eli Cannon's in Middletown, CT. Nice light lacing with about one finger of head. Very stong pine and grapefruit aroma with some lemon notes. Taste is the same with some stonefruit. Overall great dipa.

Fantastic! I am a mosaic fan and love Supernaut. This beer is exceptional in every way. Easy to drink with a great nose and super taste. NEBCO always does a great job and this is no exception.

A top 3 offering from NEBCO. Perfect integration of the Mosaic hop, combined with an ideal malt presence and tropical flavors. The transition to DIPA went well for Super Supernaut.

Growler poured into fluted snifter.

Orange, bit hazed but not totally. Thick white head, foamy, settles slowly and leaves a ton of lacing.

Bright citrus zest, grapefruit, sweet and crackery malts, maybe a hint of caramel. Tropical fruits also, juicy, ripe.

Noticeable malt presence balances the assertive hop bitterness. Grapefruit juice and rind, tropical fruit.

Moderate carbonation and medium body, bitter, but not overly.

Great balanced DIPA, smooth, bitter, fragrant hop aroma.

A very very clear gold by today's NE IPA standards. A few specks in suspension add some glitter. Holiday berries, winter citrus, and pine aroma...mostly tart with a nuanced sweetness.
Grapefruit pith, lime, piney resin. Only a small amount of tropical sweetness before a really sour tangerine takes control. Actually quite doughy. Warming, and alcohol content is noticeable. Astringency is evident, but carbonation is a little weak for me.

A: slightly hazed with powdered top / visible carbonation

S: Aromas of grapefruit pulp, tangerine and passion fruit mixed with some light biscuit and pale malt base

T: grapefruit punch, bittered to the point at first that the tongue is slightly overwhelmed at first. Soon after, tangerine and nicely caramelized sugars mixing with tropical fruit

M: medium body with a nice level of carbonation

O: overall very goood. I prefer Locust Reign to this but the mosaic highlights are nice and easily the strongest Mosaic hop forward beer that I have had.

Incredible! Was mad it took me over a week to get to it but it was worth the wait! Very similar to Supernaut but the Mosaic hops really punch you much more. Fantastic creation from NEBCO!

Pours a hazy, deep golden orange color with a large bubbly white head. The head leaves in a hurry but settles into a nice white halo around the top of the beer, leaving just a bit of lacing as it goes.

The aroma is a mosaic apocalypse. Pungent, musty grapefruit and mangoes, some orange, with just enough green peppers and onions to let you know they exist.

The taste is very much like Supernaut, but on steroids. Mosaic is by far my favorite hop, and it really shines on the flavor. Tons of tropical fruits and berries, followed by some subtle grapefruit and even more subtle pine. The malt is there, holding the flavor up with just a touch of doughy bread flavor.

The feel is medium bodied with soft, lighter carbonation. A bit sticky, but very smooth. The alcohol is present but we'll hidden.

Overall, an absolutely fantastic DIPA that utilizes the mosaic hop about as well as a beer possibly can. Hard to imagine Fuzzy Baby Ducks being much better than this. I'd be shocked if people aren't lining up for this one very soon.

here it is... the best beer I have ever had from NEBCO. better than fuzzy.... better than double fuzzy.... they perfectly imperialized Supernaut. cloudy as hell (but not hazy), golden orange. same smell and taste profile as Supernaut, but way bigger. so much mosaic without getting into the onion-zone, this is the perfect example of a single hop mosaic beer. I hope they brew this often, grab it while you can.

appearance- Orange amber in color, cloudy, and pours a one inch head.

aroma- Big mosaic hop aroma consisting of juicy citrus, berry, and a little bit of pungent grapefruit.

taste- Follows the nose pretty closely with juicy citrus upfront, a little bit of berry in the middle, and it finishes with a bready malt and citrus/grapefruit hops.

feel- Medium/full bodied, medium carbonation, soft, minimal bitterness, and semi clean finish. There's definitely some body to this so while it has a dry finish it also some residual sweetness in the finish.

Overall- Big, juicy, citrusy, and soft. Definitely a great DIPA a nice bump up from supernaut. The feel and texture is really damn good on this beer and I'd probably score it higher but mosaic hops only do so much for me. Hard to get better for aroma and feel for a dipa though.
