Appearance: Pours a hazy amber color with two fingers of foam; excellent retention and a few strands
Smell: Dank and grassy with a distinct blueberry tone; grapefruit pith, as well
Taste: There is a bit of caramel malt, up front, and it mingles with blueberry and melon flavors before ceding way to the dank, grassy hops; pithy grapefruit elements build, after the swallow, to bring a nice bitterness to the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: This keeps the juice in check and brings on the bitter IPA elements; interesting to have the blueberry so prominent before the bitterness takes over

64oz. growler into a Heady Topper stemless snifter.
Amazing color and head retention. Especially given that it came from a growler. Nose is citrus, sap, pine and cane sugar. Aromatic with nice complementing notes. Beer opens pine, citrus and resin. This one harkens back to a traditional IPA. Some dry tea leaves in the middle with a hint of more sap and a dried leaf bitterness towards the end. This is awesome. Body is medium with moderate carbonation. Smooth and soft on the palate and goes down dry, sticky with a barely there aftertaste.
This one's crazy good and it reminds me of what IPAs used to be before the Juice Bomb revolution .

L: Pours a deep gold to pale amber with a very, very light haze. If put in front of a light source one can see hop particulate suspended in the matrix. A vigorous pour gives a massive fine, white, and pillowy 3 finger head overflowing the glass. The retention is excellent with the head slowly falling to a half finger which stays with the beer for the rest of the glass (although by the bottom third of the glass the middle falls out to a film of head interspersed with splotches of thicker head.) This is a beautiful looking beer.
S: Strong blueberry, grapefruit, fresh cut grass, very distinct grainy malt character.
T: The front of the palate presents sweet orange mixed with pineapple notes. In the middle some grainy malt backbone comes in supporting waves of blueberry. The blueberry continues into the back of the palate where it quickly mixes with fresh cut grass and sweet caramel? malt. The sweet malt mixes with waves of bitter grapefruit contributing to a very balanced finish. The top half of the glass is at least a medium bitterness, but by the second half of the glass the finish is a bit sweeter with the bitterness blunted a bit.
F: Medium body with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is a bit doughy/chewy but the liquid is also a bit slippery on the back end as it slides down the gullet with a nice dry finish. There is just the slightest hint of alcohol burn on the finish but this disappears after three or four slugs.
O: It just doesn't get any better than this. The Swedish bikini team could parachute in and I wouldn't bat an eye...I would continue drinking the Super Supernaut with feverish abandon. Truly one of my favorite beers from Nebco. Maybe only rivaled by Gandhi or Locust Reign (although the Double Hag is nipping at all their heels.) If you can get ahold of this then you should.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy vibrant orange color with an inch of head. Tons of lacing. Lots of Mosaic in the nose with some light floral and grassy hop notes. The taste is a mix of berries, grapefruit and some dank hops. Slightly floral towards the end with doughy malts and more berries. Maybe a hint of pineapple. Dank finish. Heavy mouthfeel with a dry mouthfeel. Moderate alcohol burn. Supernaut is a great beer and this one only improves it.

Tried this at Eli Cannon's in Middletown, CT. Nice light lacing with about one finger of head. Very stong pine and grapefruit aroma with some lemon notes. Taste is the same with some stonefruit. Overall great dipa.

Fantastic! I am a mosaic fan and love Supernaut. This beer is exceptional in every way. Easy to drink with a great nose and super taste. NEBCO always does a great job and this is no exception.
