Growler share. This was poured into a pilsner glass.
The appearance was a soft golden burnt orange color with a two finger white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Slight messy lace, tried to be in rings, but slid for the most part.
The aroma settled in on some sweet biscuits, somewhat earthy to herbal qualities pouncing on a light citrusy bitter to sweet hoppiness.
The flavor was a stiff sweetness at first bringing in the hops at first and then allowing a light bitterness from them to come about right before the lager-like malts lighten the bitterness to round out extremely nice. Soothing sort of malty aftertaste with little to barely any hops.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation felt great. ABV felt as projected.
Overall, really nice India pale lager well worthy of having again.

32oz growler pickup from the brewery, wanted to try this new addition to the much smaller lager line-up at NEBCO. Pours pretty golden amber color with a nice head to it.
Pretty hoppy aroma right off the bat, mostly herbal and resinous hops, some grainy notes behind it. Subtle pilsner and grain flavor in the front, pretty solid hoppiness in the middle, citrus and pine with resin. Lots of bitterness in the back end.
Overall a nice beer, pretty clean and dry finish. A good beer from NEBCO but maybe a bit too harsh on the bitterness.

Golden orange in color. Fairly clear in appearance. Citrus and melon. Good pilsner malt backbone. Light and easy drinking. It's good. Might like Hop U a bit more.
