A: Semi-hazy honey clementine color once poured into a nonic pint. A steady stream of rising bubbles makes for a persistent head.
S: Citrus forward aroma like sticking your face in a crate of oranges. Sweet, floral lemon...like Buddha's Hand. Softer and fleshy notes of apricot or peach.
M: Crisp, dry, and hard feel, which is almost a throwback these days.
T: Yuzu, jasmine flower, tangerine, peach; it has a soft, fleshy tone to it like honeydew melon. Has a fair amount of doughy malt sweetness. Finishes with a zesty kick of grapefruit and pine that comes off as slightly peppery. Strikes a good balance overall--the flavors do oscillate and are quite dynamic from sip to sip-- as sweet, soft fruity flesh becomes more tart, dry and citric.
