Poured from the can into a New England Brewing Co. branded tulip glass. Canned 11/19/2025.

Muted dark orange, with hints of light brown hues for the body color. Opaque but not turbid, with a soft white forming head. Not so much creamy retention but big bubbled collar and just reaching three fingers in height.

Soft tangerine orange hop notes on the nose at first exploration, but aroma gets slightly more varied. Light touches of peach and sweet tea flavors as well. Virtually no sense of big booze or heat either which is a wonderful surprise.

Palate comes in real nicely. Rich velvet and soft juicy body that coats wonderfully. The mid palate opens in orange juice with sweet tangerine flavors and nice zest. Minimal bitterness but not overly malt sugary either. Peach tea notes with minty herbs of hop as well on the finish, for excellent variety.

Real impressed how this also doesn't come out like a boozy mess, or a hint of a big abv beer at all. Excellent big IPA.

Poured on 12/24/2022 from a 12oz can into a snifter glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick but spotty lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, caramelized malts and earthy hops.

T: The taste likewise starts out sweet with strong flavors of citrus and caramel. Then a strong but not over-powering earthy hops bitterness. The malt character is hearty and brings a very good balance. There is very little trace of the 10.50% ABV. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.

M: Smooth and crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down dangerously easy, not too filling, strong kick, very good representation of style. This is a nice big DIPA malt-bomb to drink for a long time if you’re in the mood for the style.

A truly amazing beer, fresh off the tap and in cans at Woodbridge, CT! You'd never know it is 10.5% abv. The massive amount of Citra hops marry so well with the malt bill. Delicious New England IPA!! Goes down way too easy, less bitter than Double Fuzzy Ducks. I could drink this again and again and again. Oh, wait! I have... It was Spin Cycle 14 last December. Its sheer madly deliciousness makes me want another. I would sure like to try side by side up against a fresh can of weaker but oh-so-delicious Heady Topper...
