Poured from the can into a branded NEBCO tulip glass.
Muted yellow and slightly brown with an opaque body appearance. Off white and nearly khaki colored head, slightly creamy looking with light retention.
Slightly small nose but at least a solid one. Light touches of juiced sweet tangerine and mushy melon like flavors. Faint hinting sweet caramel and almost toffee too.
Palate is fun. Slight biscuit like notes of malt with tangerine accents and even touches of mint sweetness in the mid palate. Light bitting hop finish of mild pine and spiced herbs. Minty lingering finish that really lasts too.
Very enjoyable IPA with a neat malt and hop character.

Face Hugger is outstanding, better than baby ducks which is a top ten beer in New England.

Canned on date not decipherable. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Pale amber with slight haze and 2-finger white frothy head with good retention and lacing.
S: Apricot, mango, pineapple and subtle malt note
T: Flavor is very good with delicious fruity hoppiness including pineapple, mango, apricot and herbal honeysuckle. Bitterness is moderate.
M: Lean light-medium body with a medium dry finish.
O: NEBCO Facehugger is a delicious excellent American IPA showcasing the classic hop combo of Simcoe and Amarillo. Great balance of hoppiness and bitterness in a lean package.

Mostly hazy, deep golden yellow body; thick, dense head, white, semi-creamy, rocky and sculpted, sticky. Wondrous aroma; sweet yellow pome fruits and delicate cereal grain malts; tropical fruit, fresh apple, freshly cut pear; pineapple. Nice flavor; semi-fruity; proportionally bitter; juicy. Medium-heavy body; boozy warmth and bite; alcohol dryness.
Perhaps a little bitter and brash at a warmer serving temperature, but I still like this beer. The look and aroma are fantastic. The taste and mouthfeel likely would be smoother and softer at a slightly cooler drinking temperature. That said, I still think this is a damn fine beer.

Happy to find a freshie six pack in one of my local markets....these cans are dated 10-13-22....right in the sweet spots of 2 weeks in the can.
Quality look to this pour, all hazed up, under a fluffy, large and long lasting cap, leaving more then ample fine webs of ringed fine bubble lacing all up and down the glass. Do we have a world class NEIPA in our midst?
Fresh and tropical fruity sniff, with melon, mango, ripe pineapple....enticing and inviting ...
Flavorful, fresh, fruity and delicious...more of the same flavor notes coming thru, again mango, melon and pineapple and I also get lime, tea and some scallions in the finish, excellent depth of flavor, outstanding in all aspects....high quality...go get some
