On tap at New England Brewing Co in New Haven, CT.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small white head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like sweet, rich, and dark maple, with roasted, sweet, and slightly fruity coffee, sweet vanilla, and a nice heavy roast.
This is well done, and feels bigger than the lower ABV would suggest. The coffee and maple work well together, obviously, as the sweetness of the maple plays against the dark roast of the coffee. I get dark fruit and maple, too, and it all comes together for me.
