Brewed in collaboration with J. Timothy's Taverne in Plaineville, CT to honor their 40th anniversary.
Mrs. Cooke was the proprietress of the tavern before it was J. Timothy's. She served thousands of guests when they traveled along the Old College Highway. The tavern was a significant gathering place for the community and travelers then as it is today.
This Kolsch Style Ale is a clean, crisp, delicately-balanced beer, with subtle fruit and German hop character. Subdued maltiness up front leads into a well-attenuated and refreshing finish.
IBU's: 20
OG: 11.4
Hops: Hallertau Mittelfruh, Saphir, Southern Aroma
