From a 12 oz. can dated 04/28/23. Sampled May 26, 2023.

The appearance is a typical looking hazy amber-yellow color underneath a monstrous and eventually diminishing white foamy head. It looks the part.

An array of esters including citrus, pine, light spice, mango and a lower profile white bread base.
Medium-full mouthfeel. Smooth.

The taste is sweet and hoppy for a quick description. The hops are similar to the aroma with their mango, pineapple, and citrus notes as well as pine. Everyone and their sibling does an NEIPA or two at their breweries but this one stands out more for me.

One of the best Nebco beers that ive tried… which is saying a lot. Berry and pineapple come through most noticeably. In balance with the pithy bitter finish and slightly more malt character coming through than a typical neipa… which is why i love nebco. This beer, like many of their offerings presents a marriage between east and west coast ipas. Its neither too juicy nor too bitter. Extremely crushable at 8.2%
Excellent beer.

This one pours a very slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like dank greenery and piney resinous hops, along with grapefruit peel, pineapple juice, and orange.

I really do appreciate that for the most part, NEBCO is sticking to their guns of more old school IPAs. They haven't gone straight chicken soup yet, and I can dig that. This has a marijuana-ish dankness and bitterness to it, with some berry, pineapple, and grapefruit. There's no real malt character or booziness to it.

That makes this pretty drinkable, with a crisp, clean, and slightly bitter finish. The body is light and crisp.

I can get down with this one - it's a well constructed DIPA.

A: Gold to bronze colored. Not quite clear, not quite hazy...a frosted chill. Big head on the pour, fine and even formed white beaded bed below and a meringue like top.

S: Pungent and intense wafts of sweet fruit from the glass sitting a foot away. Heavy on the tropical, stone fruit and citrus. Tangelo, mango, pineapple, peach and berries.

M: Solidly med bodied, soft feel, superfine and crisp carbonation with a slightly acerbic finish.

T: Good bitterness with a flaky biscuit backbone. Then some grassy resin followed by grapefruit, yuzu, and melon. Mango, pineapple, and red raspberry sweetness. Aftertaste is a combination of peach, lime and mango.
