L: Pours a pale gold with a medium-full haze. A gentle pour yields 2 fingers of fine, white head with great retention slowly falling to a 3 mm ring around the circumference of the glass with a substantial sheet of head filling the interior of the glass. The head leaves a mass of webbed and ringed lacing as the beer recedes in the glass. A very attractive beer.
S: On the nose I get lots of pineapple complemented by mango, stone fruit, candied citrus, and a hint of doughy malt. As the beer warms I also get hints of peppery spiciness.
T: On the palate I don't get the bright citrus, mango, and pineapple promised by the nose. I get notes of stone fruit, citrus pith, a bit of green herbal character, a very light doughy malt character coupled with some malty sweetness, a very light spiciness, and a light bitterness on the finish.
F: Medium to medium-full body with low carbonation. The mouthfeel is chewy with a hint of dryness on the finish.
O: Ok entry into the Spin Cycle series. I would have liked more bitterness and a bit more dryness on the finish.
