Totally tubular! Radical dude! Our beloved Stegosaurus got a fresh wet hop treatment of the same great combo of Citra, Mosaic, and Azacca overnighted from the Pacific Northwest. We turned our mash tun into a hop hot tub to obtain the fruity and “green” hop compounds that only come once a year after harvest.

L: This one pours a beautiful pale to deep gold color with a full haze topped by a pillowy two and a half fingers of fine, white head. The head has excellent retention leaving a mass of lacing on the glass as it goes down the hatch.
S: On the nose I get citrus, tropical fruits, notes of red berry, a bit of resiny pine, and light notes of dank herbaceousness.
T: Following the nose I get pineapple, orange, citrus pith, pine resin, bitter grapefruit, a good amount of of herbaceous marijuana, and a hint of red berry.
F: Medium body with medium carbonation and a slick, oily mouthfeel. Hop goodness coats the palate with a light dryness on the finish.
O: I would like to taste this next to the original, but alas it's been a while since I had the Stego. Going from memory, the wet hopped version seems pretty similar on the nose while the palate is going great guns. I also think this one has more herbal/dank qualities than I remember in the original. This one is another winner in my book. Highly recommended!
